Importing Still Images and Videos to a Computer

Transfer photos saved in the internal memory of the camera to your computer.

  1. Connect the camera to your computer using the provided USB cable

  2. Import photos to your computer
    • When importing videos, use "RICOH THETA for Windows®/Mac" to convert the video files (".MOV" extension) in the RICOH THETA camera folder.
    • Windows: Follow the instructions on the screen display.
    • Mac: Use iPhoto or Image Capture.
  3. Remove the USB cable after the transfer is completed

Note

  • Photos from the camera can be deleted from the computer.
  • Photos cannot be transferred to the camera from a computer.

Caution

  • Do not turn off the power or remove the USB cable while importing photos.
  • Fully insert the USB cable when connecting.
