Caution
- A mobile phone line is used for sharing in Step 7 even if the camera is connected to a smartphone via a wireless LAN. Therefore, this operation needs to be performed in a place where communication via a mobile phone line is possible. If you want to share still images and videos via a wireless LAN, set the camera to the client mode and connect the camera to a wireless router connected to the Internet.
- When using “RICOH THETA for Android” to connect the smartphone to the camera via a wireless LAN, you may need to switch network connections to post a still image or video. Therefore, when you want to use the camera by connecting it to the smartphone after posting the still image or video, reconnect them.
- When a still image or video is posted to a social networking service, it is compressed by the social networking service and may become grainy. Check the specifications of the social networking service for details.
- The communication costs will be borne by the user.
Note
- Still images and videos are uploaded to the dedicated site “theta360.com”, and the uploaded still image or video itself or a link to the uploaded still image or video is posted to the social networking service.
- For still images, Photo Sphere XMP meta data is saved when they are shot. The still images with Photo Sphere XMP meta data added can be shared and viewed on various services that support spherical images.
