Connecting the Camera to a Wireless Router

By connecting the camera to a wireless router, you can download the firmware with the camera to update it.

  1. Swipe down on the shooting screen of the camera to display the camera setting screen.
  2. Tap to turn on the wireless LAN function (change the button color to blue).
  3. Scroll the screen, and then tap [Client mode].
    • The [Client mode] screen is displayed.
  4. Turn on the client mode.
    • The wireless device list screen is displayed.
  5. Tap the SSID of the wireless router to connect.
    • The password entry screen is displayed.
  6. Enter the password.

    • Each time [Aa1#] is tapped, the character type switches between uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols.
    • Scroll up or down to select a character, and then tap to enter the character and move the cursor to the next character.
    • Tap to move the cursor to the previous character.
    • Tap to delete the character at the cursor position.
    • Tap to cancel the password entry and return to the wireless device list screen. The entered password is cleared.
    • When entering the last character of the password, you do not need to tap .
  7. Tap [Connect].
    • The display returns to the wireless device list screen.
    • When the connection is complete, the status “Connected” is displayed below the router SSID.
  8. Tap to return to the camera setting screen.

  • The communication costs will be borne by the user.
