Importing Still Images and Videos to the Computer

You can transfer the still images and videos saved in the camera to a computer.

Connect the camera to the computer using the provided USB cable.
Import still images and videos to the computer.
- Windows
  Follow the instructions displayed on the screen. (Select [Open device to view files].)
- Mac
  Use the “Photos” app or “Image Capture”.
When the transfer is complete, remove the USB cable.

The still images and videos in the camera can be deleted from the computer.
The still images and videos cannot be transferred from the computer to the camera.
Image slant is not corrected for videos shot with [Top/bottom correction for shooting] set to off. You can correct the image slant using the basic app for computer.

The file transfer app needs to be installed to transfer images with a size of more than 4 GB to a Mac.

Do not turn off the power or remove the USB cable while importing still images or videos.
Insert the USB cable securely all the way when connecting it.
